In 1938, student Tse Yam Chi (Tse Yan Ji) graduated from Po Kok School. Deeply connected to her alma mater and committed to giving back through education, she later became a teacher at Po Kok Primary School and served as its principal from 1978 to 1987, carrying forward the school’s mission and upholding its motto of “Benevolence and Fraternity.” This graduation certificate not only chronicles the journey of a student’s growth but also symbolizes Tung Lin Kok Yuen’s profound commitment to fostering connections with the community through education

The inscription is carved from left to right and top to bottom, bearing the phrase “Tung Lin Kok Yuen Po Kok Buddhist Seminary.”
The seal of Po Kok Buddhist Seminary is crafted in traditional vermilion intaglio seal script engraving, showcasing a blend of refined techniques. The calligraphy is robust and elegant, with smoothly executed carving that flows seamlessly, producing uniform and balanced lines.

Pok Kok Free School Medal Pin

This badge features the school motto of Po Kok Free School, ” Benevolence and Fraternity .” Each badge is individually numbered, and engraved on the back is “Manufactured by Road Central Wah Chun Goldsmith .”

In the 1930s, Lady Clara Ho Tung established the first Po Kok Free School on Percival Street, Hong Kong, and the Po Kok No.2 Free School in Macau, aiming to benefit all beings through accessible education.
