Dharma blooms with Tung Lin; wisdom flourishes at Po Kok
With profound respect for the transformative power of the Buddha’s teachings, I held steadfast to the belief that the Dharma offers a true path to salvation amid life’s adversities. With this conviction, I envision Tung Lin Kok Yuen as a monastery of wisdom and compassion, a place where minds and hearts could be illuminated by Buddha’s teachings. Through devoted effort and careful stewardship, the Yuen was established, bringing together the Castle Peak Po Kok Buddhist Seminary and the Percival Street Po Kok Free School for Girls in a consolidated relocation to a single site. Through the establishment of a Buddhist library and the dissemination of sacred scriptures, a timeless space was born where education, enlightenment, and the Dharma converge to inspire generations to walk the noble path of truth and compassion.
